Dr. Audra MacCorkle, DVM
She enjoys gardening, cooking, writing music, and spending as much time as possible with her 3 boys and menagerie of four legged family members.
Dr. Audra MacCorkle completed her undergraduate education at UC Irvine in 1995 with honors. She received a B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in Neuro-psycholgy as well as qualifying for a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Fine Arts. She graduated from the University of California at Davis, school of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Dr. MacCorkle has completed extensive course work in Animal chiropractic (AVCA), Acupuncture (IVAS), Herbology (IVAS), Homeopathy (AVH), Applied Kinesiology, and Physical Therapy (University of Tennessee). She also licensed in the state of Texas and is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the UK and is a Reiki Master of the Usui lineage.
Dr. MacCorkle has also worked in B.C. Canada. She has a special interest integrative medicine for exotics, farm animals, and wildlife. She is also a member of the Inner Circle Integrative Oncology group mentored by Dr. Kendra Pope, a highly skilled boarded veterinary oncologist with vast training in integrative and holistic modalities. Dr. MacCorkle prefers leaning more towards natural remedies and nutrition than pharmaceuticals when at all possible. However, at Foothill she does practice integrative medicine using all of tools she has before her to best serve each patient.
Dr. MacCorkle is the founder and practice owner of Healing Touch Veterinary Wellness Center in Tarzana, CA. She enjoys gardening, cooking, writing music, and spending as much time as possible with her 3 boys and menagerie of four legged family members.
Dr. Shant Khachatourian, DVM
Dr. Khachatourian, “Dr. K.,” grew up here in Burbank, CA. He attended Ross School of veterinary medicine on the Caribbean island of Saint Kitts. His interest in integrative medicine started early, which led him to take a job at a holistic vet clinic in 2016. Dr K. was trained in acupuncture through IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society), and has studied food therapy and herbal medicine, and is one of the only veterinarians in Southern California who has had extensive training in ozone therapy.
When not at work Dr K. enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time cuddling with his dogs.
Jaqueline Gray, DVM
Dr. Jaqueline Gray completed her veterinary training at Colorado State University. She received a B.S. in Microbiology 1993 and went onto become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She was chosen for a one year specialty internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the West L.A. VCA. After completion of her internship Dr. Gray continued to further her education and followed a passion in holistic modalities. Dr. Gray has completed advanced training in acupuncture, chiropractic, homeopathy, herbal medicine, Chinese food therapy, ozone therapy and cold laser therapy. She also enjoys surgery and dentistry. She practices a unique blend of integrative medicine using both holistic as well as traditional western medical and surgical approaches to provide each patient with individualized care. Dr. Gray also practices at Healing Touch Veterinary Wellness Center in Los Angeles. On her down time she enjoys traveling, and hiking or beach strolling with her three beautiful dogs!
